Dhrupad is an old form of Hindustani classical music with devotional roots. It stretches time and invites listeners into a deep, mesmerizing sonic space. Marianne Svasek is among the foremost Dhrupad practitioners based in Europe, having worked with musicians from the famous Dagar lineage since the 1980s. She will be joined here by her longtime partner Nathanaël van Zuilen and her Graz-based students Williams and Carboni.
